Adult_Day_Training
Adult Day Care Centers provide therapeutic programs of social and health services and activities for adults in a non-institutional setting. Participants may use the services offered daily, for periods less than a 24-hour.
Planning and opening an ADCC is different from most other businesses. This is because your business planning, in addition to being based on sound business principles, must be done in accordance with the statutory requirements enacted by the Florida Legislature and the rules and regulations set forth by the Department of Elderly Affairs and Agency for Health Care Administration; for details, read Florida Statutes, §§ 429 Part III and 408 Part II and Florida Administrative Codes, §§ 59A-16 and 59A-35.
Adult Day Training (ADT) centers provide specialized daytime programs for adults with disabilities, focusing on developing life skills, vocational training, and community integration. These centers offer structured environments featuring activities such as art therapy, job coaching, and health services to foster independence and improve quality of life.
